Northgate Welcomes Three New Staff Members

Northgate is pleased to announce that Nathan Berner, PG, Lauren Thatch, PE, and Phil DiFilippo, have joined our Northgate team. Nathan Berner, PG, our new project geologist, comes to Northgate with over seven years of experience in a wide variety of environmental services, including groundwater sampling and analysis, indoor and outdoor air monitoring, and naturally occurring asbestos evaluations and sampling. Lauren Thatch, PE, joins Northgate as our new staff engineer. Nancy Hendrickson Joins Northgate Team

Northgate is pleased to announce a new principal, Nancy Hendrickson, PE, has joined our Oakland office. Nancy brings more than 30 years of experience as a project manager and a senior consultant. Nancy has managed and provided strategic support for a wide range of environmental and remediation projects throughout California. New QSD on Northgate Staff

Northgate has added another Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Developer, Sarah Price, to its team of professional engineers. Sarah joined the Northgate team in June, and passed her QSD exam in early September. Sarah is no stranger to Northgate, having served as an intern with the company in 2010. She received her master’s degree in environmental engineering from UC Berkeley in 2011. Sarah’s expertise is varied. She has worked on projects involving soil and groundwater analysis, remedial design, and hydraulic modeling of contaminant plumes in groundwater. As part of Northgate’s commitment to empowering women engineers, our Oakland office welcomes Michelle Sesay from Freetown, Sierra Leone. Michelle is a participant of TechWomen, a mentoring initiative sponsored by the US Department of State that pairs women leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from Africa and the Middle East with their counterparts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
