Northgate is pleased to announce that the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board has issued a “No Further Action” (NFA) letter for the 301 Industrial Road site in San Carlos, California. The NFA letter certifies Northgate’s successful cleanup of this former industrial property to an Unrestricted Use Standard, the highest standard of remediation possible. “The remedial actions completed meet the remedial goals set forth therein, and ensure protection of human health, safety and the environment, without restriction. Northgate Senior Project Engineer, Grace Su, will present at the 2012 NGWA Ground Water Summit on May 7, 2012 in Garden Grove, California. Her presentation, entitled “Three-Dimensional Capture Zone Evaluation of the Perchlorate Remediation System of the Black Mountain Industrial Complex”, is part of the Summit session “Applied Groundwater Modeling–From Classroom to Courtroom and Boardroom“. Grace will talk about the development of the regional groundwater flow model of the Black Mountain Industrial Complex and how the model was used to evaluate capture of the perchlorate plume.
