Northgate is excited to announce that we are a key member of the winning team awarded a contract for On-Call Sediment Characterization and Coastal Engineering Services by the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works (SFDPW). Northgate has partnered with NewFields for this very exciting work. Selected from a competitive pool of qualified proposers, our team will be providing a wide range of environmental services to SFDPW. With this opportunity, Northgate will continue to build on our strong relationship with the SFDPW, for whom we have been providing environmental sampling, investigation, assessment, and engineering services since 2003.
On Saturday, April 21st, Northgate participated in “Volunteer for Oakland Earth Day”, an event that brought volunteers to locations throughout Oakland to green-up and clean-up the city. Our team worked in The Gardens at Lake Merritt, a seven-acre collection of themed gardens located in the heart of Lakeside Park. The team helped weed, move rocks and soil, and perform other tasks to help beautify the gardens. Northgate is pleased to announce that staff engineer Grace Su has been awarded the distinction of Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Additionally, Northgate’s Scott McLaughlin is a Certified Energy Manager in Training (CEMT). With these certifications, Grace and Scott have been recognized for their high level of competency, proficiency, and ethical fitness in the energy management profession.
