Northgate staff Elizabeth Nixon, Mallika Kumar, and Maile Smith were part of a select group of “TechWomen” invited by the US Department of State to participate in USRio+2.0, a conference and workshop held at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business on February 2-4, 2012. The theme of the conference was “Bridging Connection Technologies and Sustainable Development”. How Green is Your State Bar?

On February 1, 2012, Jennifer Berg, Northgate’s Sustainable Practice Leader, spoke on a panel entitled “Green with Envy? Your Bar Should Be!” at the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE) Midyear Conference in New Orleans. Jennifer presented the results of her survey of all 50 State Bars regarding their current sustainability initiatives, which she conducted at the request of the American Bar Association. Northgate Presents a Restoration Success Story at the SURF 19 Meeting

Maile Smith, Northgate Associate Geologist, presented the evolution and successes of the¬†Yosemite Slough wetlands restoration project¬†at the 19th meeting of the Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF), held at the University of California San Diego from January 31 to February 2, 2012.
